Press Release: 6th September 2006

NJC chosen by BIFM to write 'Good Practice Guide' for cleaning services

NJC is very proud to have been chosen by BIFM to prepare the Good Practice Guide to cleaning. The Guide will be launched on 11th October 2006 at the FM & Estates Event 'Total Workplace Management' at Olympia in London. TWM is the official exhibition of the BIFM.

The objective of the 6000 word Guide is to explain what constitutes good practice in the procurement, delivery and management of cleaning services within the
full range of non-domestic buildings. It also describes how to select an appropriate cleaning service provider as this should be considered a critical success factor.

NJC formed an internal forum of Directors and Managers to discuss relevant issues and consider the content of the guide. NJC Director Reuben Heppelthwaite commented: "It proved to be a very useful process and an interesting exercise for the company. We are very happy with the result and are positive that the Guide will prove to be a useful industry manual". NJC is a corporate member of the BIFM.
